Miki Fernandez, 1988, born in Barcelona. He began making music at the age of 17, and soon came to realize that this was to be his chosen path. As Miki states "Music became my medicine". As soon as he had saved enough cash, he went out and bought his first drum kit, and quickly enrolled in music school. Following years of musical education, Miki headed to Cuba to experience the true essence of Latin percussion, before returning to Barcelona to continue his studies in a jazz school.
Bob Marley, Camaron, Diego el Cigala & Bebo Valdes, Deep Purple, Los Van Van and Miles Davis have all proved influential in Miki's education and style, which has evolved through participation in a number of different bands. He moved to Berlin 2 years ago, where he hooked up with Temple and Varian to form
O'Haze.
